Cindy Cooksey lives in Irvine, California and is a lifelong artist and craftsman. She has been making quilts since 1989. Her quilts have been shown in numerous venues internationally and in this country, including Quilt Expos in Lyon, Innsbruck and Barcelona, La Musee des Tissus in Lyon, France, Quilt Visions 2002 at the Museum of Art in Oceanside, California, and the La Jolla Fiber Arts Gallery.

Her quilts have been published in Quilters Newsletter Magazine, most recently in the Jan-Feb issue 2005 issue. In 1996 she was first runner-up in the Artistic Expressions contest sponsored by Quilters Newsletter Magazine.
