iota is a proud purveyor of stationery essentials and gift items designed with a splash of color, style and whimsy. Their corporate identity, iōta, is named for the ninth letter of the Greek alphabet - a word of Phoenician origin meaning "a very small amount or thing, a jot, a whit." Its simple, yet powerful character is infused in every aspect of their business, from our trademark innovative design, to our bold colors, to their exceptional quality and affordable price points.

Every year they create and apply nine fresh patterns (based on a palette of nine colors) to their growing product line. Currently, iōta offers a lively mix of product in five unique categories: gifting, social stationery, journals and notebooks, personal organization as well as paper tableware and kitchen items.

iōta patterns have happily found their way to cotton fabric! Designed in a variety of delicious, custom colorways, a total of twenty-six 100% Kona® cotton prints featuring iota designs are now available.
Just released in August of 2008, Robert Kaufman offers "iōta's Garden" with new colorways in iōta patterns Citrus, Peas in a Pod and Irv's Garden to complement the March 2008 release of popular iota patterns Bullseye, Pebbles and Sadye.
